FDA Opens Door for Human Trial Medical Treatment from Embryonic Stem Cells
The associated press has reported that the Menlo Park-based biotech firm, Geron Corp (link) has been approved to conduct human trials (10 patients) for their stem-cell treatment for spinal cord injuries. This is the world’s first study of a treatment using human embryonic stem cells.
