Vitamin K and Aspirin

LEF cautions against the use of Super K with anticoagulants drugs such as Coumadin or Heparin. Does Aspirin fall into this category since it is used as a blood thinner? Is there any danger in taking Super K with Aspirin?
The reason for the caution is that people taking any drugs as powerful as coumadin and heparin are under a doctors care for serious thrombosis problems. The caution simply says that vitamin K interacts with these vitamin K inhibiting agents and you should not take it except in consulation with your doctor. Specifically, the caution is because it may be imperative (that your dosage of coumadin or heparin remains effective and undisturbed by weakening from vitamin K intake.
Aspirin and other weak coagulation inhibitors are in a different category, for one thing because they do not interact significantly with vitamin K. Read more...
