A recent study suggests drinking coffee may reduce the risk of breast cancer in women with a family history of the disease.
Researchers monitored 1,690 women in four countries. Women who consumed at least six cups of caffeinated coffee a day had a 70 percent lower risk; those who had four to five cups a day had a 25 percent reduced risk and those who drank one to three cups a day had a 10 percent reduced risk. No benefits were recorded in decaffeinated coffee drinkers.
Please, don't interpret this as an excuse to hit your local coffee shop for a super-sized caffeine kick. Coffee studies tend to conflict quite a bit.
